What is the difference between an annual inspection and acceptance testing?
Annual and periodic inspections evaluate applicable openings in existing facilities. Acceptance testing evaluates newly installed, altered, or repaired assemblies before project turnover or closeout.
Yes. AES inspects fire door assemblies and smoke door assemblies when included in the agreed scope. The applicable standards, opening types, and reporting requirements are confirmed before work begins.
Yes. AES coordinates access, sequencing, and inspection windows around facility operations. Restricted areas, escorts, and other site requirements are confirmed during scoping.
Provide the property location, facility or project type, requested service, approximate number of openings if known, desired timing, and any available plans, door schedules, or previous inspection records.
Deliverables are confirmed during scoping and may include the agreed inspection scope, openings evaluated, observed conditions, opening-level findings, status information, and documentation for facility, contractor, or professional review.
